SAMPRB tweetup #3

May 19, 2009

May is almost over already?

The bad news is that the 5th was Cinco de Mayo and if you missed it you have a whole year to go until the next one, again. The good news is that another great SAMPRB tweetup is coming up, fast.

There are only 50 spots available so make sure you RSVP ahead of time –> here

Last month we successfully (according to popular vote) introduced the concept of having an official theme while also keeping the floor open for questions and more discussion. This month we are sticking with that format and making some improvements here and there to make it easier to listen to the discussion (on location and via Ustream), partcipate, eat, drink and be merry.

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…

The topic for SAMPRB tweetup #3:

Social Media Tools & Tips – You are only as good as the cool things you know about

We have invited a few SAMPRB peeps (list coming soon!) to talk to us about useful tools and tips to make the most of our favorite social media sites and the technology we use to access them – Twitter, Facebook, WordPress, iPhones, Blackberries, Macs, PCs … and more if you want to contribute or suggest for us to add to the list (Hint: comment… </hint>)

Feel free to get the discussion going ahead of time – Here or on Twitter using the #SAMPRB hashtag.

RSVP here to attend SAMPRB tweetup #3!

When: Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 12 p.m.

Tweetup: 1) An informal gathering meant to get fellow Twitterers to meet the people behind their followers’ avatars / usernames. 2) A great opportunity to pick the brains of social media and Twitter experts as well as brainstorm with fellow beginners.

SAMPRB tweetup was created to give members of the local San Antonio Media, Public Relations and Business industries a place in space and real time to connect, share ideas and find new ways to collaborate and work together.

Andi Narvaez is one of the three founders of the San Antonio Media/PR/Business Tweetup.
